- 2002 Brevard Home Insurers (BHI) Concept
Captive Nationwide Insurance Agent Carl Moulton develops the concept of marketing a new named branch office through a legal DBA entity.
- 2003 Actively Market BHI
Carl holds himself out as a local homeowners insurance expert through this DBA in all offline marketing materials.
- 2004 Creation of BHI Web Site
Carl approaches Akarin Weatherford to build a simple web site built around an online quote request procedure which emails the results to Carl.
- 2005 - 2006 More Telephone Directory Marketing
Carl combines both offline and online marketing of the new web site a sees incredible success.
- 2007 Florida Home Insurers.com, Inc (FHI) Created
Carl partners with Akarin to produce generation two of this concept by combining an Agent co-op and a complete online prospect management backend to manage the lead acquisition and closing process. FHI generates over 17,000 exclusive Florida homeowners leads in two years the search engine optimization and pay per click campaigns.
- 2008 Became IAIMS, Inc.
To better reflect the company focus in online marketing and expanding country wide presence, Florida Home Insurers.com, Inc becomes IAIMS, Inc (Insurance Agent Internet Marketing Systems). IAIMS embarks on various joint projects with Professional Associations and the team begins speaking at events.
- 2009 First Custom SEO Tools and Social Networking
IAIMS creates the multi-line SEO back-linking tool, Insurance Rivals, to give agents a cost effective way to boost their web site rankings and exposure. Also seeing a lack of Independent Agent synergy, IAIMS creates the Insurance Agent Social Media site InsuranceAgent360.
- 2010 1Lead1Buyer Formed
After having almost a decade on the pulse of the evolution of Insurance Agent technology and the Internet, IAIMS creates 1Lead1Buyer to help Insurance Agents like themselves obtain better quality, exclusive, and affordable leads.
- 2011 Launch of MyTownInsurance
MyTownIsurance expands an Agent's local presence by allowing people and search engines to find Agency mini-sites to obtain quotes, leave reviews, and exchange information through various social networking channels.
